Cirquent GmbH / FAST GmbH Print

Cirquent’s roots stem from Softlab GmbH which was established in Munich in 1971. The company was a world leader in Computer Aided Software-Engineering  and marketed the development and administration tool — Maestro.

In 1992 the company became a BMW Group company. It has since expanded its consulting expertise and extended its portfolio. In early 2007, the step to strategic management consultancy was taken by setting up Finance Transformation. Following the spin-off Nexolab company, and the acquisition of Axentiv, Entory and FAST, in 2006 the subsidiaries were merged under the Softlab Group umbrella, and united into one brand, Cirquent, in 2008.

FAST  was founded in 1993 and became an IT service and solution provider with profound international experience.  Main business areas of FAST were e-Commerce, development of Web applications, IT-Security, IT-Consulting and Program & Innovation Management.

FAST's wide experience in EU-Projects such as Euromethod, FolowME, HYMN, ISPL, ADDE, GRASP, In-tele, GEAR and S3MS is brought into the SENSORIA project.

Main contributions of Cirquent / FAST to SENSORIA are in the areas of industrial software development and in the automotive application domain.
