SENSORIA is an Integrated Project of the European Union's Sixth Framework Programme that capitalises on the results that have been obtained by four FET projects within the Global Computing 1 (GC1) initiative:

  • AGILE - Architectures for Mobility
  • DEGAS - Design Environments for Global Applications
  • MIKADO - Mobile Calculi based on Domains
  • PROFUNDIS - Proofs of Functionality for Mobile Distributed Systems

SENSORIA is part of the Global Computing 2 (GC2) initiative together with two other IP projects:

  • AEOLUS - Algorithmic Principles for building Efficient Overlay Computers
  • Mobius - Mobility, Ubiquity and Security

SENSORIA is closely related to other IST projects and network of excellence launched by the FP6 and FP7 programme:

  • CATNETS - Catallaxy Paradigm for decentralized Operation of dynamic Application Networks
  • REWERSE - Reasoning on the Web with Rules and Semantics
